Hill Country Trail & River Challenge

Elroy Lions Apple Dumpling Day Races

Description: Elroy is the center of three abandoned railroad beds that have all been converted to bike trails. These three trails are the Juneau County Omaha Trail, the Elroy-Sparta Trail, and the 400 Trail. The trails provide a great running surface, a nice amount of shade, and fantastic scenery for the runners. All runners will receive a race T-shirt, a free apple-dumpling, medals for the top finishers, as well as refreshments - fruit, water, sports drink, soda - at the end of the race.

Toys For Tykes 4th Annual Poker Run

Music, Food, Raffles, Fun after the rides. $10.00 donation to help the Children. Thank You.

5th Annual Original Mauston Pumpkin Bash

Description: The 5th Annual Mauston Pumpkin Bash held October 23rd & 24th, 2010! Some of the activities that we will be having are local contests including a pumpkin carving contest, scarecrow contest, tug-a-war contest, 4th Annual Pie Baking contest. We will also be holding the 3rd Annual Mauston Pumpkin Dash, a 5k run-walk on Saturday as well as a Spooky Sprint for kids. Activities include inflatable rides, pumpkin painting, games for kids, a NEW haunted house, paintball course, and much more! Over 50 vendors selling crafts, food, and other merchandise. The Mauston Pumpkin Bash will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., w ith all vendors & activities running from open to close.

Night Hike

Description: Join the Friends of Necedah National Wildlife Refuge for an evening of nightlife activities that include our popular night hike into the refuge. A dinner with the Friends Group will begin at 5:30pm (adults: $7.50; 6 to 12 years olds: $5.00; and children 5 years old and under are free) followed by a guided walk at 6:30pm. The dinner and guided walk will start of the Ellen Allan Learning Center.
