One of the best things about Juneau County is its natural beauty.Over the years,artists and photographers have traveled to this area for inspiration and some quiet contemplation of the beauty of the land. We’ve included a photo gallery of just some of the places that have inspired us over the years and we’ll be adding new photos and commentary as our muse dictates.  There’s a growing arts community in Juneau County being led by Hickory Hill Art Association, a group of regional artists and artisans headquartered at the Burr Oak Winery. The group has been providing art and inspirations to the residents of the area and now has a permanent exhibit of their work at the winery. Be sure to stop by and spend a few minutes enjoying the work.

Other places featuring artwork by local and national artists include Jim’s Trailside Gallery in Elroy, The Red Geranium in Mauston and Gray Wolf Gallery in Necedah.  By the way, some of the photos has been labeled with a hint of their location but you really have to visit us to find these spots and many more.
