ATV'ing is becoming one of the fastest growing family fun adventures in our area. Juneau County has miles and miles of clearly-marked routes for your adventures and more are being added all the time. As with any sport, you need to follow some basic rules for all to enjoy the thrill of ATV riding. Our friends at the Castle Rock Family ATV Club, the Bear Bluff ATV Club, and the Petenwell ATV Club ask that you follow these simple rules for your enjoyment while riding on their trails.
1. Please have a state registration sticker when using any of these routes.
2. Stay on designated ATV routes, don't ride in ditches or on private property.
3. Obey the 35 MPH speed limit on all routes and posted lesser speeds where appropriate.
4. In Armenia and Finley townships, all ATV operators must have a valid drivers license.
5. Kingston township routes west of Cranberry Road are closed during the winter - signs are posted at that time.
6. In Necedah township, no person under 18 may operate an ATV after 9:00 pm unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
7. All routes are closed during shooting hours of gun deer season.
8. Please, no littering.
9. Observe all Wisconsin ATV laws. If you're not sure of the law, contact your nearest WI-DNR office.
10. Rules are subject to change - please stay on signed routes.
11. RIDE SAFE!
